RIP
We, the family of the late Jimmy Munnelly wish to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who sympathized and supported us on our recent and very sad loss. Thank you to our wonderful relations, neighbours and friends for your kindness to us during Jimmy’s time of sickness and sadness. We appreciate all the cards, letters, prayers, messages, calls, tributes, and donations to Mayo Hospice. Thanks to all who visited Jimmy at home, the hospital, or the hospice, those who brought food, attended the funeral, and to those who travelled long distances. Special thanks to his friends and colleagues in Mayo University Hospital giving him a lifetime of memories and laughs. To his greatest buddies Tracy and Ciarán for absolutely everything, the trips away, the fun gatherings and your love and support. Sinéad, for the many meals but more importantly your company and love. Paddy, for your continuous help and the paper each day. Gillian, for all your amazing planning. Mary, Eileen, and Joe for your many acts of kindness. Thank you to all the staff at Mayo University Hospital, the Oncology Team for attending to Jimmy’s medical needs. Grá to the kind and attentive staff of Mayo Hospice, who cared for Jimmy during his toughest days. The fantastic Palliative Care Team, the Public Health Nurse, to Dr. Joe Loftus and staff, and to Staunton’s Pharmacy. Gratitude to Fr. Shane Costello and to Fr. Conal Eustace who celebrated the funeral Mass, to all who participated, to our incredible singers Nicola, Majella, Tomás and Shane, and for the graveside music. Thanks to the gravediggers, to all staff in the TF Royal Hotel, Snugboro Community Council for traffic management, and to Kilcoyne Funeral Directors for their professionalism. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
