We, the family of Paddy Gibbons would like to thank most sincerely all those who supported us in our recent heartbreaking loss. We will be forever grateful to family, relatives, neighbours and friends for the overwhelming support we received.
A special thanks to those who brought food to the house, helped with teas and coffees, the Garda Síochana and all who looked after the traffic arrangements. A heartfelt thank you to S.N. Thuar Mhic Éadaigh, CLG & LGFA Thuar Mhic Éadaigh, céilí friends, and all who took part in the guard of honour. Thanks to the grave diggers who prepared Paddy’s final resting place.
A sincere thank you to Fr. Jarlath Heraty for his time and support over the weekend, and for his beautiful mass, to the sacristans and all who took part in the mass. We would like to thank Pádraig Heneghan and Matt Cunningham for providing beautiful music and singing.
Thank you to all who attended the funeral, travelled long distances to be with us, sent mass cards, messages of condolence, flowers, all who paid warm tributes to Paddy online, especially the meaningful tribute from Mildred Beirne on Midwest Radio.
A big thank you to Nora McHugh and to all those who helped out at the Halla. Thanks to Kevin and Cathy O’Toole, funeral directors, for their support and guidance and Barbara, Seán and all the staff at Máire Lukes for a lovely meal after the funeral. To Dr. Noel Rice and his team for all their care over the years.
A special thanks to Alan Duffy and Levin Engelhard for the amazing job they did on recording and producing a video of the funeral.
