Bernie Gallagher 9 Cahir, Louisburgh, Co. Mayo (died May 1st, 2024). We, the family of the late Bernie Gallagher, would like to extend our sincere and heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has offered their condolences in person in Louisburgh and Newcastle, by phone, online and through letters and cards of sympathy. Bernie was taken from us too soon 11 months after the sudden passing of her beloved husband, Brendon. Her sudden passing in Mayo University Hospital, despite the best efforts of the ICU staff there, has come as a terrible shock to Bernie’s entire family. Our deep shock and grief has been comforted by the huge outpouring of condolence from the many friends, work colleagues and family who knew Bernie so well and spoke with such fondness of her gentle kindness and warmth. Months Mind remembrance for Patsy Brennan, Drumartin, Tourlestrane, Sligo, who died on April 2nd 2024.  We, Margaret, Katharine and extended Brennan family of the late Patsy wish to thank all of those who sympathised with us in our recent bereavement. We wish to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who called to our house and attended the funeral home, removal and funeral mass, as well as those who sent cards, flowers and travelled long distances to be with us.  We wish to express our gratitude to Fr. John Glynn, singers and readers for making the mass so special, and to our undertaker John Brennan for his kindness and pragmatism in during this difficult time.  A special word of thanks to all the staff who looked after Patsy, from both Intensive Care and the north west hospice, and in particular the paramedics who tended to him over the last number of years. As we are unable to thank you all individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation.

Jimmy Munnelly, Ballinaglough, Snugboro, Castlebar – passed away January 17, 2024. RIP We, the family of the late Jimmy Munnelly wish to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who sympathized and supported us on our recent and very sad loss. Thank you to our wonderful relations, neighbours and friends for your kindness to us during Jimmy’s time of sickness and sadness. We appreciate all the cards, letters, prayers, messages, calls, tributes, and donations to Mayo Hospice. Thanks to all who visited Jimmy at home, the hospital, or the hospice, those who brought food, attended the funeral, and to those who travelled long distances. Special thanks to his friends and colleagues in Mayo University Hospital giving him a lifetime of memories and laughs. To his greatest buddies Tracy and Ciarán for absolutely everything, the trips away, the fun gatherings and your love and support. Sinéad, for the many meals but more importantly your company and love. Paddy, for your continuous help and the paper each day. Gillian, for all your amazing planning.
