Bernie Gallagher 9 Cahir, Louisburgh, Co. Mayo (died May 1st, 2024). We, the family of the late Bernie Gallagher, would like to extend our sincere and heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has offered their condolences in person in Louisburgh and Newcastle, by phone, online and through letters and cards of sympathy. Bernie was taken from us too soon 11 months after the sudden passing of her beloved husband, Brendon. Her sudden passing in Mayo University Hospital, despite the best efforts of the ICU staff there, has come as a terrible shock to Bernie’s entire family. Our deep shock and grief has been comforted by the huge outpouring of condolence from the many friends, work colleagues and family who knew Bernie so well and spoke with such fondness of her gentle kindness and warmth. Mary Joyce nee Maguire  Coolmeen, Mayo Abbey, Claremorris, Co  Mayo.  The family of the late Mary Joyce would like to sincerely thank all who supported them during Mary’s brief illness and during the time of her funeral. John (Seán) Gavin, Clooncan, Ballinlough and Crossbeg, Tooreen – Died 27th January 2024. We the Family of the late John (Seán) Gavin, wish to thank all those who sympathized with us on our recent bereavement. Thanks to everyone who called to the house, attended the removal and funeral Mass, those who sent floral tributes, cards and messaged and to those who travelled long distances to be with us. Thanks to Fr Jerald, Fr Stephen and Fr. Joe for a lovely Mass, the Sacristan John Finn and to Carol Duffy for preparing the Church, to the organist and soloist Carmel McLoughlin and to Micheál and Shannon for the beautiful singing and John Duffy for organising the parking at the Church. The family of the late Tilly O’Shaughnessy of Garrywadreen, Claremorris, Co Mayo and formerly of Milford, Kilmaine, Co Mayo wishes to acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness shown to us following our sad loss.
